Hung Vanngo's return to the 90s
I am happy to report that the 90s are never going away thanks to the illustrious MUA, Hung Vanngo's latest endeavour. Vanngo is a successful New York-based make up artist who has been behind the face of many A-listers. Born in Vietnam, raised in Canada and uprooted to New York, you can't deny that being exposed to all of these variations of culture and art from all ages would have no impact on ones artistic mind. With this inspiration of creating Vanngo has gone on to be one of the most accredited MUA's in New York and perhaps even in America. His talent for creating such looks of naturalistic beauty (or dramatic when wanted) with an avant-garde aesthetic has made him the go-to source for many of the most prestigious designers and brands, as well as being requested by a-listers themselves. Vanngo has created looks for celebrities such as Emily Ratajowski, J-Lo, Ellen Pompeo, Karlie Kloss, Jennifer Lawerence, Bella Hadid, Selena Gomez and the list goes on.
He has finally dished out the secrets behind the look we've all been obsessing over, our beloved 90s inspired face. Vanngo blesses us with three makeup tutorials to follow to achieve the right look based upon our basic skin tones light, medium and dark (would have loved to have seen more of a variation from different ethnicities on this look, but lets be honest the man can't pull out a Rhianna and perform a similar look on 40 faces). Although, this does allow us to choose the look best suited to our skin, rather than having to attempt to copy from one look who bears no resemblance to us whatsoever and leaves us ending up bright orange (Which many MUA's leave us to). So a big thanks to Hung for making us feel a little more inclusive.
